Going green.
Graphic artists get political in an exhibition of posters for Iran
Blogs and social networks sites helped the movement spread its message around the globe, and the protests were spoken about in some quarters as a ‘Twitter revolution’. Where Is My Vote? features posters created by an international cast of graphic artists including Yossi Lemel (top), R. O. Blechman, Seymour Chwast, Ivan Chermayeff (below), Milton Glaser, Robert Grossman, Anita Kunz, Jennifer Morla, István Orosz, Woody Pirtle, Andrea Rauch, Ralph Steadman, Gary Taxali, James Victore and Massimo Vignelli.

The poster by Gary Taxali reminds me of the book “The Funny Little Man” by Virginia Smith. Who is that absurd character who is waddling to a Free Iran? Looking into Gary Taxali through google I see he is an illustrator, or maybe a pop artist like Lichtenstein.
Is the combination of red and green in this work meant to make me think of Green Communism?
