The friendly side of graphic art

Outline asks illustrators and designers to share their views of London

Currently occupying a pop-up gallery in the UK capital until early July, Outline Editions presents ‘001 London: ‘the big city through the eyes of Britain’s leading graphic artists’.

Each participant has created an image based on the theme of ‘London’, made into limited-edition giclée prints that are for sale.

Featured artists include Kate Moross, Lizzie Finn, James Jarvis (top), Supermundane (below), David David, Anthony Burrill (see ‘Over the rainbow’ in Eye 75) and Klaus Haapaniemi. Transport is a recurring theme.

Organisers Camilla Parsons and Bill Tuckey explain their view of the genre by stating: ‘We believe graphic art is a uniquely friendly artform - made for sharing.’ Here’s a small portion.
